2002-style 4 Bolt Output Flange for 1981 E21 5 Speed

I have a modified driveshaft with a 1975-era 4 bolt giubo on the front (off a 2002) that I want to use with an 81 320i 5 speed that currently has a stock 3 eared output flange.

What am I looking for model/year-wise for an output flange that will fit the 320I output shaft and have ears for a 2002 4 bolt giubo??

If it gets too weird I guess I can cut the front off the (bad) 320i driveshaft and go that way.

I *think* the flange from a 2002 or E21 4 speed will bolt onto the 5 speed, but I don't know that for sure.

I do know for sure that some 1980 model 320i's (or possibly all 1980 models) had a 5 speed with the 4 bolt flange on it, and that you can easily swap that flange onto a later G245 5 speed.

The flanges are interchangeable. I've a 4 hole early flange on my 82 3-piece trans using the 8hole guibo. Was the shafts I had with 4hole and the 83 ltw 2piece trans ate itself. As they say the 83 trans was featherweight but failed with hard use.

I think for $185 we'll be chopping driveshafts up in the shop.
