1992 525i Cant locate transmission fill hole

No matter how much I search.. I can't find a picture, diagram or video with a transmission exactly like what mine looks like.

Think I have the GM automatic transmission THM R1 (MAYBE) Pics included

Mine appears to be missing a fill hole. Anyone have any ideas?

Was told to ask for Shogun cause Runoutmick said he's the BMW God!

    here are all fill and drain plugs shown, ZF 5HP30, 5HP24, 5HP18, 4HP22 and 4HP24 have a dipstick from top, and also shown GM THM R1 (A4S 310R +A4S 270R) and 5L40-E (A5S 360R)

Based on the VIN this is the oil pan http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=24_1299
item 9 24111218900 is said to be the drain plug , Transmission Drain Plug, Located on the rear of the transmission pan https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...g/24111218900/
    item 11 Screw plug 24111219749 https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...g/24111219749/

    so this one https://i.imgur.com/s3RH2XD.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ABGdhzE.jpg
here where I live we mainly have ZF transmissions installed or JATCO, so better someone more familiar with GM can chime in.

Imgur pics work, first time it says no access, but when I click reload and can see the pics

here it says: (As of 02/91 the THM R1 transmissions are not equipped with a dipstick) http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...6&pp=20&page=2

yours is production month 07/1991! Does it have a dipstick? Then you could fill from the top(?)

The image you linked "so this one" is 9 on the diagram.. there is no number 11 as seen in the other 2 pics

I'm confused as mine looks just like the diagram you shared.. but look in the link below.. i labeled it

i labeled it here to show you there is no fill plug... https://i.imgur.com/tQYxJhM.jpg

Crazy.. maybe the previous owner replaced the pan with an incorrect one since its not on mine.. Or maybe the plug is missing and my hole is just filled and leveled with grim and dirt.. I'll have to look again in the morning .. thank you again

Looks like you have a piece of hose over the shift cable. Is the fill plug lurking behind that?

It's right above/behind red rubber cover. I had to remove cable to get fill hose in.

In this image you can see that there is no plug behind the cable/hose.

No, on this picture you can't see anything. Get under, clean area around red rubber with break clean and you will see it.

On mine it's here, visible. Maybe they installed blind plug and it is covered in dirt? I would clean it first.
