I have a 1982 635CSI alpina Euro I知 trying to get all the Information on it to insure this is the car. I知 having no like from other sites everything on the car is in German.

If it is an Alpina, contact Alpina directly for the build sheet, with the Alpina VIN you do not get any data out of the BMW system. But there must be also the BMW VIN, that you can try here, that shows you how it went from BMW to Alpina

That is the frame number TP4-9170, built year 1984, model 6CS/1
since around 1980 almost all VIN numbers of all makers are 17-digits, also BMW. The VIN number of your car starts with WB......check on the right side front shock dome.

Look on the firewall and door frame for the vin.
If you can get me the vin I can run it through BMW and Alpina and tell you exactly what you have.
Th vin should be on the top of the block on a flat section of steel above the starter motor.

This same car is now for sale in Illinois. Did you ever find any more info on the VIN number? I did check all the usual locations and couldn't find the other VIN number.
