M62TU Cam/Vanos adaptations

Hi,

I am trying to get cam adaptation values from a 2003 540i, since I can't seem to get the vanos timed right. I am using TestO and I detect the ecu and choose Adaptationswinkel NW-B1 Flanke 1 but it is blank and eventually says IFH-0009 in the status section at the bottom of this window. I tried both with pins jumped and without pins jumped. I know some older cars required two pins jumped on the DCAN cable.

It looks like the detected ECU was incorrect for this application. Forum member rf900rkw helped me figure this out. It looks like these are the cam adaptation values?

Perhaps someone knows how to reset the vanos adaptations? I am making adjustments and the values are not changing in Test0. That is, I disconnect battery for days, I reset adaptations in INPA by clicking F7, then I run test0. They initially show 0 values and then all populate with the same values from before I made physical adjustments.
