Correction to what John said. I (Kasten) have no restrictor plates on my race car. You are correct saying it is bone stock (except the cat-back exhaust).
There was a brief period I considered slapping a very mild restrictor plate on as I was light, but opted to throw a few bricks of lead in the passenger well instead.
I am unsure how this would compare to the remaining costs for you to go FI but why not consider ITB's? Solves the heat concerns and Darby made 300whp IIRC. http://racehead.com.au/products-page...50-52-itb-kit/
Interesting. I know Darby has had great results with it, when he posted that 300rwhp dyno chart I was blown away! Looks like it does work with the factory DME, but they're out of stock. I'll shoot them an email and see what they say...

Well, sold the supercharger this morning, so decision made. I'm either going to run the car as is in TT4, or run the ITB's to try and get closer to my max hp limit in TT4, or put in a restrictor plate and run in TT5.
Next up is installing the MCS double adjustables that are sitting on my garage floor...

I am in a similar dilemma once adding the ITBs. Now I make too much HP for my class . The grass is always greener.
Darby,
Easy solution, send me your ITB's. I'll make the additional power I need and you'll drop back down to the level you need
