    Fan always on

    hello,
I have a 2008 Bmw 528i and I have noticed today the my fan is constantly running on full speed even when the car is on cold start! also my heater is giving cold air not hot. I have no idea what the issue is, so if anyone can please tell me what it might be or what I should do I also do not have any check engine lights or anything.

    thank you!

No, not usually. You need to have the codes scanned. A BMW specific code reader is usually necessary. Generic P-codes aren't good for much. Especially when it says "manufacturer specific code"
