2002 325i. Walked out of work to my car last night to find all three brake lights on. Got a jump and made it home and disconnected the battery. Today I checked fuses 9 and 32, they were ok, then replaced the brake pedal switch. Brake lights were off when the car was off but on constantly when the car was switched on. Progress right? Not so much. Went inside to do more research, 1 hour later looked outside and the lights were back on.
Help me please...
Brake light switch is adjustable. Must be set correctly. Push brake pedal down and hold. Push brake light switch in (towards the pedal) and then release the pedal. When the pedal is released, it will push the switch back out to the correct location.

Switch adjusted many times, no effect.
check the tail light wiring at the plug. There is a TSB for the ground wire burning up. It can cause all sorts of weird issue.
