M50 with getrag 240, Help needed!

Hey guys, sorry if i have posted in the wrong thread.
I am needing a bit of help with my m50 swap. I am unsure which driveshaft to use as I will be using the getrag 240 and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info around that. I am wanting to know which driveshaft to use, which car it is out of, auto or manual etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

The g240 from an m10 based car will not fit an m50 you’d need a 260 from a m20 base car. The only thing I remember a g240 fitting is an m30. If you use a 260 trans you can use a stock e30 drive shaft (manual) just need to change gears to a 3.73. You can use an e36 transmission but you then need to do a bit more playing with diff and drive line variants, that’s if I remember correctly

Hey man. I have a g240 from an m40 engine, so im not entirely sure if the bellhousings patterns are different or not. I know it has been done before but I dont have a whole lot of info to support it.

A 240 will work ! I tracked a m50/g240 then a s50/g240 for two seasons.

Which clutch and fly did you use with the m50/g240? And also gear linkages
