Hey guys, so i have a 2011 BMW 535i and I've recently had "Passenger Restraint" alert? it seems to go in and out and I'm not quite sure what causes it? I've seen for older models there were bypasses and solutions but I haven't seen anythign in regards to 2011 and newer...
PS also i keep having TPM alerts but tire pressures are good...
any help would be appreciated
The obvious answer is to find out why the light is coming on. The first step is ALWAYS have the codes scanned with a competent code reader that can access all the BMW control units, and give BMW specific codes. a $35 code reader from Autozone will not work.

Guaranteed it's the occupancy(OC3 mat) in the seat. I've seen these failing in F10's just like I did as far back as E39's. For cars that aren't covered under a campaign, I'll typically just code it out.
