The car will turn over and it almost fires. Almost like it's out of fuel. But that's not the case. I replaced 5 coil packs because the 6th was replaced by the dealer in the Fall. The plugs were the same that came out: Bosch ZGR6STE2. The coil packs are Bosch 0221 504 470; replaced all 6. One old coil had a crack in the boot near the plug. That's probably what was causing my misfiring at low rev/high torque. Anyway, I can't imagine what the problem is. I took care to install everything properly... used dielectric grease (sparingly), antisieze on plugs.
I'm going back and checking my work now. If anyone has ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Hmmm... found something about mixing brands of coil packs. The single coil that was replaced in the Fall is likely OEM. It's definitely not Bosch.
I see that I have a contradictory statement about the number of coil packs replaced. I replaced only 5. And I found the problem; the plugs woulldn't completely slide into the receptacles on the coil, like on the coil replaced by the dealer. After some finagling and some dielectric grease, they seated. So now the car is running fairly well although the idle is somewhat rougher than before.
Many of have issues with the Bosch ZGR6STE2 plugs and go with the NGK's instead. Most common problem is a soft miss at idle.
