Someone produces a billet t-stat manifold for M-S/5X? The cast material is most likely more weldable.

$419 for a F'N thermostat housing and a stat ? That's 1000% BS. I'm sorry, that's gotta be the BIGGEST BS ripoff I have seen in a while. Oh my. I will never visit that site again after seeing that. Holy shit I hope that's a typo or I'm missing the line where it says "includes radiator" or is that a $1500 option ?

In the 8 years my 99M3 has been turbocharged, I have not needed a billet thermo housing or oil squirters, but I am not trying to make 1000 rwhp and am not tracking my car.

Some parts are a lot of money. I have definitely probably too much in my day on fancy things. $1000 shifters, expensive meth stuff, and I have been impatient and have done plenty of expedited shipping costs when I could have waited. But, that $400 for a T stat housing is stupid.

The e39 housing has a port on top which was used on my M52. You might be able to tie into that. It was useful for bleeding. Only needed to cut a standard e36 hose shorter.

Replaces failure prone plastic and accepts OE hoses. Price is a little high, but made in ‘merica!!!

    Lots.
You can weld to a cast one (I can't, but Mike Radowski did on my old S52). Worked great for a temp sensor.

What size AN would people want ? I probably have this stuff laying around. 16 AN ? 20 AN ? I know I stock the aluminium housings at me shop.

You can weld a cast tstat housing no problem. $15 for the housing + whatever you want to weld to it and done. $400 is just ridiculous but to each their own..

I like this creativity. At least for those who can weld aluminum.
