    Door Lock Actuator Rebuild Kits

Does anyone know where to find them? Or even the individual components?

The OEM BMW actuators are repairable. Every aftermarket actuator I've seen are sealed units. The aftermarket actuator I bought (then returned) had the mounting holes to accept the screws, but they were not threaded. With that oversight, I don't trust the rest of the build either. The brand was on Amazon, APDTY.

The actuators are indeed rebuildable. The broken parts on my units were always the nylon / plastic gears. I found the gears in eBay from a seller called brossautoparts and replaced the gears for my rear door. For my front doors, I purchased the factory units direct from BMW and they had screw mounting holes that had to be tapped. You can purchase the tap from Homedepot for around $7 - 8.

    Cheers

Thanks for that info! Unfortunately, they don't have anything for my particular application. I emailed them to see if they can help me out though.

I'm looking for the internals to a 51227202147 & 51227202148. I thought it'd be way easier to find a parts breakdown of these things! I did go ahead and buy a kit from Bross, it didn't specifically say that it went to my actuators, nor did it specify front or back position. But the verdict is in; the repair kit worked! Thank goodness!

Can you provide the link for the parts you bought? All I can see on the seller's page is the parts for the front doors.
