New X3 (G01)

Hi all

First time here. I just picked up a new 2018 X3 30i M-Sport (G01) for my wife and she is loving it.

One thing she has mentioned is the lack of exhaust note. I think she is too used to my Mustang sound.

Anyway as the car is so new there appears to be a lack of after market options as yet so I am looking to retrofit a universal muffler as an option.

I am not very knowledgeable on 4-cyl twin turbo engines so am hoping the great minds here can point me in the right direction for options. I use a Borla S-Type system on my Mustang which is fantastic. Some early investigation has uncovered

1. Borla Pro XS
2. Stainless Works 304 SS Oval

You could check with supersprint and see if they make one for the x3. They're a favorite of the M3 MZ3 crowd

Changing just the exhaust, because of a desired note, I would not advise. Even if you don't care about the warranty, changing the back pressure begs that you get a performance tune. Not sure who offers it on the 4 cylinder.

A muffler change shouldn't effect the tune that much. Headers yes
