If you've spent anytime on this forum you will notice there are some very knowledgeable and helpful folks who follow and post here.
Personally I find the top two that are in a league on their own are rf900rkw.jpg rkw and Randy Forbes.jpg RF.
I would like to dedicate a thread to express our Thanks to both of them for sharing there knowledge and expertise with us!
Thanks Randy! Randy!

Having their great knowledge, experience and wit present on this forum help make owning a Z such a treat! It would be a much tougher row to hoe without the support available on this forum, so three cheers for the Randy's, moderators, and everyone else that makes it happen!
to both Randys who help us all . We need to all give them a hardy for saving us much when we try to DIY.

Agreed; these two guys are great! Although I'm pretty new here, both of them have already made contributions on keeping me and my car pointed the right direction. This board would not be the same without them.

Each Randy have contributed more useful content to this forum than even exists on most car forums (not to mention Randy F engineering the subframe fix!). A sincere thanks to both of you!
I do wonder if great mechanics are identified and then renamed Randy or if it's like the Jedi Order where they are found as small children and trained to be a Randy.
We'll probably never know...
Thanks Randys! You've definitely helped me keep my car happy.
I am officially blushing thank you!
Y'all have to give yourselves credit too, for what I (or we, but prefer to let Randy W. speak for himself) say would have no value if you didn't read through my drivel or see the near-endless stream of the same pictures, over and over.
I want to caution you though, Murphy's Law being what it is, so lets not ruin a good thing. Besides, these cars have small cockpits, and I'll still need to be able to fit my head in!!
Just just so we're clear, Randy W. is MY Go To Guy, so I want to include my thanks to him as well!
Our moderators, going back some sixteen (16) years now have all been terrific, as well as all the patrons here; I think we can ALL take some credit for the success of this subforum.
I also think Abel deserves more recognition, as he's quickly and steadily shown what a valuable resource he has developed into! In the years to come, I feel that he'll be bailing out more of us with his knowledge of our DMEs, helping far more that I can fix with hand tools. Exciting times ahead.
Welcome to all our newcomers too; as these cars continue to age, an influx of new owners is inevitable, and they should be made to feel at home here just as much as the original or long-term owners do.
Again, my thanks (some of your comments are amazingly funny, but I do feel the sincerity).

Wait--those are two different guys? I thought one username was for business-related stuff and the other was Randy's personal handle...
Cheers to the Randy's!
I don't post much but do frequent here often. I tend to look for either Randy's' responses in threads for solid and trustworthy answers.

I gratefully appreciate the wisdom and experience that both so freely share with us on here.
It does sadly remind me though of another who inspired many of us with his DIY articles in the early years, but who’s no longer with us any more - http://www.unofficialbmw.com/ronstygar.html
Well stated, Thank you both
Can't forget about Abel & Ron (rest in paradise) as well.

I would definitely ad Abel to the list. He is extremely valuable to this community.
January is ok to be Randy month, as long as my birthday on the 17th is still Graham Day
Jokes aside though, the Randys, Abel, Ron, David and countless others have been tremendously helpful in growing this group into what it is. So to them, thank you - Im sure I speak for others when I say this is one of the best car groups I have ever been part of. Heck, part of the reason Ive sold some of my old cars was because I couldnt stand the community. But I am a Z3 lifer at this point
