Hello all, I have been reading/searching all the sites for help with my air suspension issue. Car is a 2002 525 wagon. Has a gazzilion miles on it, but is a good car. Every winter I seem to have an issue with air suspension when it gets really cold. Wont initially pump up on one side, but if you turn car off than on again, it will pump up no problem. We have had very cold temps lately and the compressor would run, than shut off and wouldn't pump one bag. The warning of inactive suspension comes on right away when you start the car. Now, pump won't come on at all. I looked into it today. Fuses are good. Relay is good at pump, but I did replace it any way. I jumped the contacts on the connector and the pump runs fine. But, the car will not activate the relay to run the pump. I am lost what to do next. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
My first thought is that it sounds like the affected corner's sensor could be going out.
Thanks for responses guys. To follow up and bring a solution to a problem(hate when people don't follow up!). Hooked my creator 310 up to the car today. Saw that there was a height sensor fault. Which makes sense. I cleared the code, turned car off than back on. Voila! Working fine! The bag still needs to be replaced and will be done soon and at same time I will check the level sensor. So, with the little Creator, you can clear stuff up and get it working again!
