hey to all legion member's, Ran into a problem. Was wondering if there is a repair kit and or part number for this. Seems that all my connections are a bit weathered and brittle. Thanks in advance.
Hi ... they're Bosch EV1 connectors ... ebay that and find lots.
The later version with the "quick release" clip is much easier to use. A lot only come with little sealing plugs for the wire entry .. but if you look hard enough there are ones with the full rubber boot too. Depends on your preference.
cheers
hmm .. Wonder what happens if I do this ...
i got so excited when i read aux valve repair kit...thought it might be for the internals
Same Here

EV1 Connectors come in two flavors, One is without pigtails, the other with pigtails or unwired/prewired.

Hey Randy,
Why don't you make yourself useful and find us the repair kit for the aux air valve internals that we all REALLY want.
I have seen a couple companies that rebuild them a while back, I have not seen a kit though, Most likely it would be heater coil is all that would need to be replaced besides cleaning.

Long ago I bought these connectors with pigtails at Autozone. Haven't seen them lately, but haven't looked. Now I just buy them from BMW as separate pieces: housing, pins, and rubber boot. You install the pins with a weatherpack type crimping tool.
If you want to unpin the original connectors (in case you only want to replace a broken housing or boot without changing the pins), they are locked to the pins by some kind of heated pressing tool. You can see the impressions in the OP's photo, under where the boot goes. You need to cut them out with a hacksaw before the pins will release from the housing.
