    Ncs expert help

I've been trying to code out my passenger seat occupancy sensor and tensioner faults. I changed the Passenger Seat Tensioner_1 to disabled (to be honest I wasn't sure which one I needed - rookie error). Coded it back, but made no difference. So, change it back to active and tried recoding. Gave me an error saying the coding was faulty! Tried again and it worked. But when I now use Inpa to check codes, I have 10! Got ones saying 'plausibility error', 'programming unsuccessful'. And when I try to clear them, Inpa throws an error with the script. I'm really worried I've screwed it up. I've disconnected the battery to see if it helps, but I doubt it. I have an mot soon and need to get rid of the errors (they will be sorted properly by the way, just don't have the time now).

Feel like a complete dumbass right now.

Is this for the Mazda or the Mercedes?

I know this is a long shot, but would it help if I use a blank
.man file to the ABG module? I'm sourcing a replacement control unit with the same part number and version, so hopefully that will work.

What month / year? Do you have an error 240 (or F0), Internal Error in airbag module? This fault won't allow for coding or error clearing.

Yes, have a 240 error. Is it possible to cause this with coding, or is it a coincidence?

That error may have been there before. You cannot do anything with that module. It needs a complete reflash of the mcu with chip writing tools. Or replace the MRSZ3 module.

Inpa wasn't showing that error before. But it is now! Lol. Seems a bit coincidental. Anyway, I've sourced a replacement unit from another car with the same part number and version. Will it need coding to my car? If so, how?

Yea, the internal error is caused by software and sometimes wrong hardware. Obviously in your case it was the coding fault.
The MRSZ3 module is very prone to those internal faults. They can be cleared, but it's a bit of a process.

    Coding is simple with NCSExpert.
