I'm hoping this is the right area to post so here goes...

I have recently installed the engine and gearbox into my E65 (N62) after working on them over the last 2 years, and encountered a 'no crank, no start' condition. After checking that everything has been connected correctly several times, I thought that the issues has something to do with one of the many ECUs in the car and have been investigating them with INPA and ISTA.

Using INPA, I identified that several modules had no VIN associated with them (not sure if this is an issue but fixed them by recoding the VIN in WinKFP anyway). I identified that the following modules had the following errors (INPA UIF):

- DSC ERROR_ECU_SUBFUNCTION_NOT_SUPPORTED__INVALID_FORMA T
- NAV ERROR_ECU_SUBFUNCTION_NOT_SUPPORTED__INVALID_FORMA T
- CDC ERROR_ECU_SUBFUNCTION_NOT_SUPPORTED__INVALID_FORMA T

Is this normal, or is there something more going on here (iDrive is also displaying the restraint system warning which I can't seem to clear in ISTA)? Really need some fault finding ideas/suggestions...
