What a great group of E 32 owners and a great event. I have been a regular at this event since the third event was held back in the Vineyards. To Cory, Dirk, Matt, Kurt and especially Adbul thank you for making this a most memorable event. To Cory thank you for installing my performance chip from Shogun. . . you can really feel the difference. To Abdul the newly elected BMW E 32 Club President (LOL) thank you for finally after 4 years changing my language on my computer from Spanish to English.

For me personally one of the highlights of this event was spending time with BMW enthusiasts who I could be their father. It does my heart good to see younger people interested in these cars and to enjoy the company so much with a "Beezers" (BMW Geezer) like me.

To all who could not attend I hope to see you next year.

I hope to see you all next year. I plan on overhauling much of my e32 this year and may even add turbo to it.

Young Bimmer and everyone else that did not attend because your car was not up to the trip! The cars are the catalyst for the event but this is a GOF. "Gathering of the Faithful" (I stole this from the MG annual gathering but it applies) There were lots of BMW fanatics who did not bring their cars some because they cars were not done others because they did not want to travel in their cars in the rain.

There is an expression in car circles "It is not about the cars it is about the people" No event for any type of car I have EVER attended is more in tune with that statement!

The people who attend this event are the "Show" they make it work. Scott Studi has done a wonderful job of creating an event for all manner of BMW owners to enjoy. So my advice is even if your car is not able to make the trip next year come anyway. . . . you will not be disappointed!

It was not even cosmetic things, I have some faults in cooling and suspension that didn't make me feel comfortable enough to take it down to NC and I didn't have the time to sort them out, plus I was (forced) to attend my sister's graduation

WOW, I think your sisters Graduation takes precedence over a car event even if your parents did force you to attend!

After sixteen hours of uneventful driving (six yesterday and ten today), I'm back home. This was my third Vintage, and it was a wonderful experience again. Definitely not my last Vintage! It was nice to meet some familiar faces and some new ones. I also enjoyed riding in Abdul's car and driving another 750 on a stop-over in Maryland. These "oh, your car does that too" moments are priceless.

Bob, thanks for the pizza. Abdul, thanks for the tent. Everyone, thanks for the conversations.

By the way, I would recommend to everyone planing to go to the next Vintage to include a visit at the BMW CCA Foundation. I've been there each time. Last year they had a fantastic collection of BMW racers in the "Heroes of Bavaria" exhibition, and this year they assembled a great collection of '02s in "ICON: 50 Years of the 2002". They published really nice catalogs for both exhibits. Let's see what they come up with next year, it will probably be worth a visit again.

I too made it back home with no issues. 10 hours one-way at 28 mpg (26 with the ac on) These truly are well built autos!

It was a privilege to meet you guys and gain a little more knowledge about these rare cars.

    Matt;

    Glad you got home safe.

I think I speak for all of us who meet for the first time last year that it was a pleasure meeting you and spending time with you. Your car is "sweet". Looking forward to next year

That's hilarious, I have an (older) lebanese plate on my 735i. The world is indeed very small

Wow that looks incredible, very warming to see so many E32s side by side. A shame I couldn't make it. I am surprised by how many darker coloured E32s there are compared to the lighter colored ones. The Alpineweiss and my Cirrsublau would have been standing out in that crowd! lol I will make it next year with mine for sure, I won't miss it again.

By any chance, did or do any of those black 735s have a red valve cover with a black intake? I've been searching for my old 735i that I had traded it years back, it was in pretty fantastic shape so I hope it never reached the junkyard.

I think we all really had a blast this year, it was great to just chill with fellow E32's. Our goal for next year now has to be to beat our previous turnout of 8. Lets make it the year of the sevens. Is 12 E32's feasible?

Serge I know you really wanted to attend this year but since you couldn't make it, we should at least try and meet up here in Florida. South Florida isn't that far of a drive from Orlando. Maybe we could also meet up with CroughtonE32 since he's near.

YoungBimmer It would be great to see your Lebanese plate at next years vintage. Bring as many E32's with you from the Midwest.
