Board,
I have an 08 e61 sport wagon that is basically just sitting. This touring has the following upgrades:
- KW coil overs
- Down pipes with full custom stainless exhaust including a cat. Meisterschaft last half
- O2 sensor delete
- Larger intercooler
- K&N filters
- roof rack delete
- M5 front bumper
- Euro M5 Side views
- M5 Front calipers and rotors (require 19" wheels) w/ebs red stuff pads 500 miles
- M5 staggered wheels w/ conti sports / 3K miles. Need refinishing.
- X Drilled rear rotors
- Matte Black 3m accents: Roof, under mirrors, rear valance
My family is on a growth path and this car does not fit the need. I also have the OEM intercoller, headlights, roof racks, mirrors and a lot more for the car. Recent service was completed to replace the trans filter and gasket plate. Car is registered and inspected in Rhode Island. Never driven in the snow and typically stored indoors when raining or snowing (aside from the pictures!) Has a few small blemishes typical for a car that is 10 years old but nothing major.
Comes with OE Mirrors, Roof Racks, Rotors and front calipers, headlights and a lot of other bits.
15K Cash. I believe it is the lowest mileage sport wagon in the US but you tell me. Sure hate to let it go but it is a shame for it to sit.

I am interested. Was the HPFP replaced? PM with what you are hoping to get?
Bump. Don't let what I have in this car stop you from reaching out. Needs a new home.
Honestly, these types of threads are tough because you haven't put an actual price down, however you've alluded to one by talking total investment. I'd put a solid price out there so that people have an idea of what you are potentially willing to accept. People might not want to make an offer for fear of insulting you and the discussion/negotiation ending there.
Additionally, tourings are such a niche market car in the US. I think it's beautiful, but so many people go for the SUV/SAV thing that the demand isn't high for touring models. You might be able to find the right buyer and thus get far beyond market value, but most common people are going to see this as a 2008 535xi with some modifications, which would blue book between $8-11k. I hardly think you'd accept that, which means your market is particularly small. Just depends on how long you're willing to wait to sell it, but the unfortunate reality is that you're probably not going to see anything north of $14-15k I would bet if you want to sell it sooner rather than later and even that might be a stretch given you're talking 50-60% over book value.
I'm interested at 14k. PM me if you want. That's well over private sale

WHOOOOOO!!!!!!
Looks like a nice car if you want to pay a premium for a nice low mileage modded car. We have had an 08 535xit for 7 years, has 130k on it and we have driven it 100k of that mileage. We still like it and plan to drive at a few more years. Not many of the 5 series wagons in the US so it’s not a common car.
I think mbonder is close to right. 15K cash gets it and I am losing a lot of money!! Comes with OE rotors and front calipers if you want to get away from the 19" wheels.
Maybe you and KarlSpackler can work out a deal, seems as though he might be interested around that price.

Beautiful!
The right price requires the right buyer.
