    Cold Temperature Electronics???

Whenever the temps fall below ~16F (-9C), the door lock mechanism, 1/4” window drop, and interior lights do not operate.

Strangely, I am able to manually (with key) unlock the drivers door (without the peg moving up). Pry the door open with the window fully up and the will car start fine. Even after it starts, the door locks, interior lights and window switches do not function until the car fully warms up (~15-20 minutes). Initially intermitantly, but eventually they will fully function.

What is wrong with the electronics at these colder temps? General Control Module?

That sounds correct. The GM gets cold and cranky.

    not enough
+8 on the gen module. Had that happen on the 850 until I replaced the capacitors. Soon after getting the car I received a call from dad who happened to walk next to the car, he told me it was making "noises". In my case, the cold was making the GM act up and activating either a door lock or the trunk lock (i forget which of the two) leading to battery drain too. Problem solved after new capacitors were welded. For the CSi, I had the professional expertise from fellow member Scott. I would recommend reaching out to him if you can't do your own. He has it down to a science.

I had my GM pre-emptively rebuilt by "EEDegreeToDrive" last year and he does an excellent job at a reasonable price. Those 25+ year old capacitors dry out and cause other electrical gremlins to surface. Here's a thread he started . . . he's pretty smart on the subject. I consider it money well spent.
