Hi all,
My 323i fan is not running even with the a/c on. I am trying to narrow down the culprit and I need to know what is the box with the small electrical plug on top of the radiator fan. I am unable to find this part description in RealOEM 's radiator diagrams.
It is the smaller plug in this DIY.

That small black box is the AUC or Air quality sensor. It has nothing to do with the Fan turning on/off. First check your fuses, next unplug the fan and see if it is getting power when you turn the A/C on. Most of the time it is the diode resistor pack that goes bad on those cars.
