Sure does! I don’t drive it a ton; it’s at about 105k miles now but I’ll take it out on nice days!

It's been a couple of years now, but hopefully within the next week I'll have the 7 back on the road (only took a few days to clean 1.5ish years of rat piss and poo out of / off of the engine, ugh). Life's been a real roller coaster ride, endless money troubles, mum's cancer, and generally just too many other priorities in life above putting a car on the road. I actually intended to have it on the road yesterday, but had to buy a bunch of important medications for mum in a strange twist of health insurance screwup coincidence, so it's looking like next week now

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hello! I'm still alive!

Here's my 37k mile 740iL. TLC is an ongoing process.




Just replaced all plugs, injectors, and fuel filter. Runs like a dream.

Crazy, they look brand new. A lot of the car looks and feels new. It’s not perfect but really makes a nice appearance.

I have a Dinan Tuned 2000 740i M Sport. Owned the car since 2002 and bought it with 18K miles. I've owed it ever since. Haven't driven it for the last 5 years but now have decided to fix er up. It has 260K miles and runs perfect.

Just finished re-tinting the windows all around and have some minor interior work like headliner, and a couple of plastic parts to replace in two weeks. I got to say I have owned the car for 18 years and while I have much newer Porsche and MBZ AMG coupe, this is still my all time favorite. I think it was kept in a garage its whole life. It’s been cleaning up nicely.

Couldn’t wait until spring to put my new style 89’s on. It doesn’t get driven much since its winter, but its been such a mild winter so far that i try to drive it at least once a week. Next up is a light tint all around, a complete suspension refresh and lowered a bit!

Thanks guys. I spent too much time looking at wheels! As much as i liked M pars i wanted something different. I got real lucky and found these locally on craigslist. Brand new in the box never mounted. Only downside is they’re a square setup (19x9) but i couldn’t pass them up.

Bonus is you can rotate your tires. 2:1 rear to front replacement ratio on the staggered sets is annoying. I must have missed that CL ad lol.

Just picked up an M6 GC as well. Already have downpipes and mild stage 2 tune, it’s an animal. I do miss my 740i but don’t miss the constant work hahahaha

Good looking wheels on the Gc too
