I'd pick them up myself but I'm a bit tight on space at the moment and have baby #2 inbound this month. Not a great time to try and flip them but I think you could easily make $100 or more if you can sit on them for a while.

Hmmm good question, I just figured it was a model year thing... My 2000 silver had a black dash (I think), and my 2001 Sahara over beige had the tan dash.

Yeah those are very nice. I'd love a set of pearl sports for my green car. If someone has some they are selling I'd be interested in talking. It would definitely sway me toward keeping that car.

Decoding the VIN doesn't show M Pars or shadowline trim as factory options. Me thinks someone went through the trouble of adding those parts. Also, shadowline trim on doors and around windows but chrome trim on bumpers?

I saw that too on the bumpers, interesting. I might be getting a 525i E39 sport, that has chrome window trim (525s never had it even in sport trim). And I found a company who sells the black tape you can use to convert to shadowline trim...

Been in contact with the seller as I saw the same issues. He has stated that he added the seats (sport seats never came in iL sports) shadowline, m-pars to the car. Standard iL but still a nice example.

Went to check this car out yesterday. Tons of extra parts including Bilstein sports, lowering springs. Late build, steel sunroof car. Not rusty but was hit and poorly painted, mis aligned panels. Really was hoping to pick it up and merge it with my black shorty. It’s a real roach so I passed.
