Hi,
I was recently rear-ended in a car accident, witnesses reported my car being struck while not moving by a vehicle traveling 70+mph. I am concerned that the air bags should have deployed, from what I can tell the air bag symbol appeared on the dash indicating a deployment, but this was not the case. I have included a picture of the dash at the time of the accident and am simply wondering if my air bags were malfunctioning or anything of that nature.

It may indicate that some of the sensors or other electronics used for the air bags were damaged. There are air bag code scan tools you can use for checking the air bag system.

Probably seat belt tensioners deployed. They'll have to be replaced or you'll never be able to clear the codes.

Take it to your dealer to check if the airbag system is working properly.
