If at all possible you should remove the broken bolt from the hub. The forces from the serpentine belts are considerable.
When you consider that BMW balances even the little power steering pump pulley, smooth harmonics make these cars
what they are, the Ultimate in driving experience.
But we all do what we have to in a pinch... The good thing is the broken bolt in the hub is 'unloaded', and could possibly be walked out
if not too corroded or damaged, leaving the threaded hole ready for a new fastener. Worst case scenario would be using a left handed
drill bit to 'bite' into the bolt and back it out. Working slowly and carefully, obviously. Good luck!
Put new fan and both belts on, gage on dash stayed in red. I put coolant in and kept squeezing hose to get air out while car was running, finally it went to blue. Topped off coolant and let run a little over 20 minutes and it stayed in blue. Drove her around the block and she went to red again, someone please help

That video is a fail. Draining and filling is outlined here.

Washed her...no need for tire shine. The desert sand just gravitates right to it...

On a cold engine i just get the front lifted and open the cap and screw and turn heat to 90 and fan on lowest setting to open the valves up and get the aux pump going. Fill coolant up to the brim of the tank opening and allow the bubbles to escape through the open bleeder screw hole. Keep topping it up until there are no more bubbles coming out. Then close cap and screw (do not overtighten it) (unlock the cluster to test 7 - ktmp to watch the temp in digital for precision) start the car and every minute or 2 open the bleeder screw a few times and try to bleed some more bubbles out. Go for a ride and make sure the heat is nice and toasty and the ktmp on cluster does not exceed 110c...

Few days ago got tacho rings. Have replaced the ribbon cable and installed the rings.

Nice work! I would like to replace the ribbon on my cluster. Is it a tricky job? The write ups I have found online aren't entirely helpful.
Ran 2 self tapping screws into front and rear of side sill spoilers to get rid the sagging. Feeling good about it

You can choose one of two options. If you have the tool for tacho needle, that's the easiest way. If you don't have the tool, then you need to drill holes trough the front panel as it showed on the pics. It is a bit tricky but it' 5th time to me and every time i did it better.
