Talked with my friend who is the owner of the Discovery, and I will buy it out from him
He is our best mechanic in the garage, he will change timing belt, take it to the paint shop and paint the car some spots.
The car has quite a lot of km's on it, 350tkm, but I will get it a few thousand cheaper than the ones on the market, and they are SE models(cheap ones) this one retrofitted a Range Rover leather seats and leather center dash from RR

Can i Spray Paint a Clearcoat without any Special Tools? With that i mean If i can use Just the Spray Paint bottle If yes, how do i use it correctly? Because i want to respray my Trunk since Last Time when i derusted it, i literally ruined the Trunk because my Spray Paint was Bad, it doesnt Look too Bad but still, in comparison to before it Looks horrible.... XD I also want to respray the passenger door, because when i Had him at the mechanic, my mechanic or His workers drove against my Car and gave the door a little makeover....any Tipps and Tricks to make it Looks stunning again? Thanks in advance! Any Help is appreciated!
With spray u can't get good shine, it will still look like spray. But thin layers, and a lot of them, let them dry maybe 5 minutes, between layers.
I painted my E39 last week, and gonna do same this week.
After spray clear coat, you have to polish it to shine even a bit.

Today, I took the radiator out of my 2001 740i with almost 200K miles on it. Also, more frustrated at the inability to unseize a bolt on my idle tension pulley that was stripped. Purchased a chisel, (didn't work); Hanson Irwin Multi Spline Ext Set, 25 piece--seemed like it was going to work and then couldn't get the piece to bite again. Couldn't find a drill bit that would drill a hole into the bolt, (recommendations appreciated) as I must have old, cheap drill bits. Trying to use a drill required me adding a flexible extension to attach the drill bit to as the space was too small to directly access the bolt.
Anyone know if I can use an air compressor impact gun to somehow drill thru the bolt? Have a dewalt hammer drill but it's too large to fit into space available. This problem has been a real pain and has held me up for a week. Hanson Irwin tool requires drilling a starter hole into bolt before it can be used. Also got a couple hoses off using the trick with the screwdriver to pry them off while pulling. Great tip.
A bit more rust removal and painting on E39

Took off plastic tray off under engine, and cleaned it up a bit. Dropped the oil pan. No guide-bits or other various demons at ~137K miles. New oil pan gasket obv. BMW part. Put in M1 "high mileage" 5w30 for the first time. Watching for some other leaks. Pan was not leaking as it was, or if it was it was just a insignificant seep. Something else higher up is leaking and running down, dripping off the trans oil cooler/heat exchanger hoses. I'm not up for tackling anything else on jacks in a hot driveway. Local indy shop owner has an e38 as his personal daily, so he knows all the nonsense involved. Will let him try to plug up some leaks. Its become non-trivial lately. Leaving belly pan off and parking over giant drip trays to spot where its falling and how much for a while. Oh, and changed the re-circ air filters on both sides. What a PITA to do the driver side. Old ones were gunked up nice. Recirc seems to be working now. Will only be able to tell for sure when its much hotter, or if I go by something stinky lol.
After one year laying in the boot, I finally changed my steering wheel.

Nice Garage; I could even have a man cave there when my wife gets tired of me putting money into the E38 740i Beast.
I thought my car was yellow.

On the new DINAN 7, a few small things...
Secured the rear passenger door speaker cover that was popping off every time I closed the door.
Secured the nearly new floor mats with the plastic Velcro mounts that were missing.
Installed a mount for the iPhone.
Secured the driver side skirt, the front mounting rivet snapped and the front was coming loose, used a small sheet metal screw and drilled a new hole.
Have a slight whine when driving, Old525i suggested I turn off the AC and try it, it sure did get a lot quieter. Was thinking it was the TC or trans, now maybe not.
That's all the time I had today.

Took my wheels off to clean them and the fender liners, struts, shocks, calipers etc. Put the M pars back on so I can get new tires on the rear BC forged and get all 4 balanced again.
I see you have one of the HF special jacks, how is that working for you? They are having a parking lot sale here next weekend and the 1.5 will be $49.00, thinking of getting one for light duty stuff.
