Replaced the drivers door brake, and swapped out the rotted speaker while I was in there. I had already replaced the blown passenger side one. This one the surround was about 75% gone, but wasn't making noise so hadn't bothered. Getting the door panel off was the hardest part of the whole thing! I can never get that top chrome piece along the window and the top of the door panel to align again. Nor the locks to be level after I take them off. Ugh.... only I can tell, but it bothers me!!!

Also, I'm glad the door stays open and doesn't try to crush me every time I open it, but now I have to slam it shut, and it's noisy.... but all in all it's an improvement!

Love Eureka, course I'm a hippy at heart. If you were going to be in town tomorrow I'd invite ya to a PCA (Porsche Club of America) BBQ at Devil's Den. It's a multi region event, and who doesn't like to look at all the pretty Porsche's!! LOL

Not exactly to Darth but for Darth and the currant occupant.....got tired of not being able to see. Bought two 2300 Lumin LED lights from HD @$50.00 ea. mounted on booms so I could adjust and then mounted to the lift posts - so far working well.

I'm in the process of a Valve Gasket Cover seals replacement, (and whatever comes up) with the excellent help of the DIY threads posted. One important point I want to mention for others doing this for the first time; removing the wiring harness box on each side is much tougher than any posts I've seen that describe the procedure. One states; "and then prepare to go to battle". That's an understatement. The metal clips which hold the box in place are barely visible, especially for plugs 1 and 5 to the back of the cover. Access is the major problem; there is so much around them that it is difficult to even touch the clips. I actually had to remove the clip on the fuel injector on 5 as it was covering the connector clip I needed to get to. Sharpening a clothes hanger; first hangers can be too flimsy and then what's the best way to sharpen, (do you need a grinder to sharpen). It was really frustrating and incredibly difficult. I wonder if there is a better way or "trick" to do this. I haven't lifted the covers out yet, but the passenger side looks as if the ABS Module will be in the way and may have to be removed. I'll be asking others about this question.

When I did my intake gaskets and VC gaskets I just removed the whole fuel rail. It was pretty easy, and the boxes come with it. It was a little bit of a game of Tetris to do the passenger side, but only took like 5 mins to figure out a way to put it back on. Removal was easy, but didn't want to disturb my RTV on reinstall. Per a write up I had applied the RTV to the gasket instead of the block. That would have been fine in the driver's side, but on passenger side wasn't the greatest idea.

Dont worry about that plug denoted as 1 its extra and if you switch that plug with the one denoted as 2 in the picture your car wont shift on it's own
