Last night upgraded 4:3 to 16:9 I'll do new tail lights and center dash vent today20180511_224450_HDR.jpg
Dinan - replaced drippy expansion tank & radiator cap. Tomorrow replacing the starter, bendix acting up for 3 years, adios.
750 - had previous owners locking lug bolts removed, had AC evacuated and charged. was .47lbs over the 1.5lb requirement. Also
drove it out of town today first time, 100 miles trouble free. No lights. Knock on wood. It really just needs different wheels and a
respray at some point. 70k miles, worth saving I think.

Love that interior! Very nice!
So I replaced two doors on my black shorty yesterday. The doors I purchased sight unseen turned out to have been sideswiped and painted at some point. They are a little bent. But there is no rust and they close fine so I guess I'll see how they buff up. Another less than satisfying project though. I will replace one more door later this week.
In process photo:
I was unsatisfied so no after picture yet. Will clean and buff then see how it looks. The old doors were crumbling though.
looking into my next mod
But so do I ruined my car

I drove JL's Mini with a 6 speed for two weeks - including an accident on the interstate where it was stop and go for about 15 miles, what a BITCH!!! I then remembered what I liked about Auto's - it was a pleasure to get back into Darth. I was even looking for an Auto over std when looking for the 3 series I just bought Some say the auto is the weak spot in the 335i - they are fast enough that when driven "Sportingly" that is the first problem....

The price was very fair - it is just as frustrating working on all the damn leaks! They are every where - both oil and coolant. I think I am now down to one big one on the passenger side somewhere around the turbos....which I found out yesterday that they were replaced last year so they are less than a year old. That is a big savings...

Oh snap! Just do it.... I just brought home this little gem yesterday. A 2011 Range Rover Supercharged in Rimini Red. Even though by 2011, most of the BMW bits had been removed from the L322 Range Rover platform there are still a few carryovers in the interior that make it feel like I am in my E38. It is mostly the buttons/switches on the center console, sunroof controls, window/mirror controls that are clearly BMW carryover. I gotta say though, this 5.0L supercharged engine is a beast... and I am in love with the color.
Looks pretty good in the garage too but the 7 still gets the special "end" stall....
