gotcha, on top of the turbo there is a black -4 tight 90* female/male, that 90* is connected to the BW 1/4" NPT male to -4 male converter, if I got rid of the converter and found a 1/4" NPT to -4 male/female 90* that would eliminate the space of the original converter...

Im lost for words on this one, FUSE FABRICATION, in pacific Washington, is killing this exhaust job Heres some 3.5" pie cut weld porn. Hood shuts, O2 and Wide band will be separated just after the bend just off from each other.. he also is pie cutting all the bends to the exhaust tips, I expected mandrel bends but he insisted in finishing the way he started.

Is it me or does anyone else think that the top of the valve cover might melt?
Looks purdy, but heat! Any plans to wrap it?

thanks man, I’m running my aux fan continuously, new clutch fan, GTR vented hood, aluminum VC heat plate and most likely some wrap. This setups been done before many times before and most don’t have the GTR hood, no complaints from mostly everyone, I think it should be fine. We will see I guess. I saw the center section today and oh man is it pretty.
open to input and suggestions from anyone who has a top mount, frank? Cap?

Nice looking fab work. Tapatalk found just the right expression via sponsored ads after I saw it lmao.
As lovely as that looks I think I'd still wrap the entire thing. I debated wrapping mine over the first layer after feeling the top of my hood following some hoonage lol.
Somehow my plastic valve cover & gasket has survived even without a shield but I'm weary

I would wrap turbo manifold and the DP with titanium wrap
I saw 200 degree difference between a non wrapped manifold and a wrapped one
That is art.

well Kyle did a great job on the intercooler piping, I mounted the BOV as far forward as possible, maf under the 3" pipe, meth nozzle on the 90 and CCV between the meth and MAF - we had to re-locate the expansion tank and also utilize a 6.7 cummins flex drain with a welded -10 fitting to get the RSI/BW s366/44mm MVR and Recirculation pipe to clock and drain the turbo properly, at least now I wont have a big loop in my -4 line for feed... ill put some pictures up for people using this combination in the future.
A pretty big list has grown again, I still have all my hot side wastegate lines to run, I need to shorten this -10 drain line, relocate all my coolant lines to the drivers side, and dermal out some clearance in my rear diffuser area for the twin 3.5 tips to get along comfortably with the stock diffuser.
also my GTR hood came in the mail, soon as the cars running im hoping to hit the paint booth...

Jordan from RK-tunes remote logged into the car today and setup a base tune, running a 91 octane map softer on the timing side, I will be filling he car with 92 and 94 octane as well as using meth. I need to test that system tomorrow.
the car is almost completely together. heres some more update photos - Had to build a bracket and relocate the expansion tank and assorted hoses, regapped my plugs to .21, ran all my hot side lines. Checked out my dump tube with is sleeved into the main exhaust so I can pull it out of the sleeve and run open dump or slide it back in the sleeve for recirculated spool tones. I pulled all the plugs ready to prime the system finally. I wanted to wait until I had the car tuned so I could put the fuel pump fuse in and fire the car up. doubled checked all my hose clamps are tight and vacuum fittings are tight.
car is ready, im going to run with just the kidneys for a bit, looks like my bumpers going to need lots of chopping to fit....

Chopped more of the car off for room as the downpipe goes below, installed old school low temp fan switch, didn't have an oring so I made a gasket from grey permatex.
cant really see the BOV here because the lighting is off...
ordered an aluminum valve cover guard from a guy in boosted e36 world for 110$ shipped... this is until Fuse can fit me in for a sick titanium bent to fit DP guard....

You have to chop the actual bumper or steel bumper guard?

Very fancy build. I read you are recirculating the CCV. What baffled separator have you found that actually works really well on a high boost/power motor?
UPDATE: THE CAR IS ALIVE It didn't explode! a little overwhelmed with diagnosing issues, prevented me from posting right way here. The car is running, but not running perfect. Never the less, this is a big step for me mechanically and im super happy to see the car come alive without a major failure. This is All the more motivation to go deeper and build my 85mm m52, later this year and continue my passion with these cars and expand mechanical knowledge.
I do have some frustating issues preventing me from DRIVING THE CAR.. the car sounds like a cammed 350 v8, just doesn't sound like a normal s52 granted its 304 stainless 3.5" open exhaust all the way out. It starts right up, has great AFR's (14.7) and (-18VAC) for 15-20 seconds before falling on its face to (18+ AFR and -13 VAC). Butterz has been a huge help in diagnosing this strange issue.
BOOST LEAK TEST: the videos below show the boost leak test.... I found some hot side leaks, and a decent one at the throttle body that was fixed. then I pressurized only the throttle body to 28 PSI with no major leaks. just a tiny little dribble out of an -an fitting.
I have checked:
FPR with 51 PSI with no vacuum 42-43 with vacuum - Plugs (NGK 4091 - .20 GAP) - Coils - power to MAF (.71 volts) yellow wire and secure connection - Cam position sensor is plugged in and secure .... tomorrow I was going to replace the 02 sensor but not convinced this would cause my issues since they were fine just a bit ago when the car was NA.

Is the "tune" expecting the FPR to be boost referenced?
