    leaf blower FI?

Just thinking about my 110 volt leaf blower, would that give any boost to my M 54, its rated at a 225mph wind speed, not sure how to extrapolate that to a 3 liter car engine, lol, but it seems like it would provide some boost, with a rectifier,of course.

You might need your leaf blower around the house for chores. Better to stack up a few of these in your intake and then go to the drag strips and run 9's

Reminds me of a time we had an upcoming event that needed cleaning the parking lot, a car already on the chassis dyno, a slow day at the shop, and plenty of duct tape...

This did, however, require a gas powered blower.

Roadkill did this several years ago on an episode. Season 2, Episode 16.

So they got almost 10% outa the gas blower, I might try it, the parts are just laying around, I'll have a push button boost, kinda like NOS.

    are slow.
Not sure if serious, so going to answer as if serious....
A rectifier turns AC into DC, you need to go from DC to AC.

If you're going to be doing this, at least do it with a gas blower.

I knew rectifier didn't sound right, follow the posts, "my 1000watt
inverter won't power the blower", and a gas blower wouldn't be "push button" boost., I need a 1500 watt inverter, many on Amazon touting 2000/3000 watts and are 1/4 the size of my American made one.I'm not going to try a $300 invertor experiment.

I’d tune the blower on E85 or race gas. I have a Milwaukee M18 blower but don’t think it would help.

Don't buy a cheap invertor, they won't deliver at any reasonable efficiency. There is zero chance you're going to pull 3000 watts from one, that's 250 amps and I bet the wires included on their kit is pathetic.

I have this and I swear it's more powerful than most gas powered units I've used. It has a turbo button that REALLY blows.

It's a waste of time and money. There are tons of examples on the internet of it and it's not something you're going to run on a daily basis so why do it?

Now you've got me thinking of trying one of those, my invertor is a big american job, might have been the old battery I was trying while on charger with the invertor, didn't want to experiment with the bimmer's battery system, until I know I can power the blower.
