    I flipped the 666 manifold :)

Since day one I've had problems with turbo sitting too low for gravity drain and the 38mm wastegate was causing boost creep in winter. I always liked the Jv 666 manifold so it was time to fix things!

Dropped the car off at Insane Innovations and they flipped the manifold after some fabrication work, made me a new downpipe, new intercooler piping, welded on a 44mm wastegate flange, and heat coated turbo and downpipe. I was in huge shock when I first saw the hood but after a few days it kinda grew on me. Just thought I would share with ya guys.

Cragg thanks for the oil cooler cap, it came in today and I installed it.

Did anything have to be done to the manifold so that the turbo and valve cover didn't interfere? Looks like a pretty awesome setup!

Aren't you afraid of a rock kicking up and getting in the turbo with that set up?

But otherwise, it looks freakin awesome.

If a rock were to get that high up I'd be more worried about the windshield.

Honestly no. I don't drive my car much at all and I do need a double ball bearing there is a pretty solid screen on turbo though and the turbo is not sticking out really.

Thanks guys, I am really happy especially now running a 45mm wastegate right under turbo I see no boost creep at all and I don't have oil smoke problems anymore which is great.

Yeah I'm in N.Phoenix. Been wanting to pick up those same wheels, they look sick on your car. My car is mostly in the garage, runs well but need registration and insurance right now as well as a few small odds and ends. We should meet up sometime once I'm road ready should be next month or so.

Haha yeah I hear ya on that one. I didn't know he was gonna make a big cut so when I first showed up I was like oh S#@T. Few days later it started growing on me. Best part is turbo sounds like its in my passenger seat.
