    Good Bye Yall

Well last night I messed up. Was entirely my fault. Don't really feel like going into details.. but my pride and joy is done. Didn't even know how to change oil when I bought this car and built it into something special. Kinda devastated about it..

Had a good time with you FI BMW guys. Was fun while it lasted.

That is a bummer. Like others have said, you could try to fix or swap to a better chassis.

I haven't decided if I'm going to try and swap everything to another m3 or just part it out and move on.

    Glad you're OK raj
Swap it over and do it again...
Most of that will go straight into an E30 chassis

This example is a perfect reason why I feel 500-550 whp is much better for the street. Even tho it can be dangerous as well. My experience is that with shitty roads, 650-700+ is a handful and a 1/2.

Yeah ~700whp, cold drag radials and roads, and a road I was not familiar with was a perfect storm. Totally my fault..

True, lost control at about 80mph. Could have been way worse. Back of my car hit around 50mph and then the front hit at less then 10mph.

Dude don't call this quits....you can't be upset when you crash man it happens to a lot of people. Buy a new chassis and keep going. I've already crashed two e36s, and now Im on my third.

    I'm glad you are OK.

Cars always need "work", this is just a different kind.

This isn't the time to make any decisions. Put it away for a few weeks and after the emotions get less raw see how you feel. It sucks but as far as wrecks go, it's pretty minor. All the important bits can go into a new shell. Or even rebuild this one if it means a lot (that's what I'd do if I dorked up my E30, I'd have to pretty much burn it to the ground in a crumpled up ball to throw the whole car away). But if you're just not really interested in doing this anymore, or with this car, that's a different matter but it shouldn't be a decision you make while emotional.
