Under Engine Splash guard and parts manual - 97 840ci

Good Afternoon Everyone,

It looks like I'm missing a couple under-car splash guards that it'd like to replace on my 97 840ci.
But I don't know the part number or what BMW calls those specific parts.
Does anyone have the parts catalog / manual so I can determine which parts I need?

You can look up (almost) any part number for the E31 on realoem.com

I think you're referring to part number 51711970184, Engine compartment screening, which fits under the engine, bolted between the two air boxes

You'll need 4x 07129904232 body nuts, and 4x 07119916964 screws to fit it in place (not shown on the realoem diagram)

Other parts which tend to crop up in this conversation include the 51718118725 air guide, which wont fit your 97 (only fits cars without an X-brace), and the 51712252004 air duct, which fits the CSi lower front bumper.

I will save the website, but unfortunately thats not the part in question and I cannot find the part anywhere else under the trim section.
Time to keep digging!
