Looks good, nice contrast with the black accents...and not too light in color...first time saw it on a 2000 Imola Red M5 guy called it Carmel, looked good there too...

Cinnamon! That is cool man! Always wanted that in an E39! Hmmm, wonder how that would look in my Oxford Green 2 wagon?

Thanks guys !!
I have been under the impression that Cinnamon was NOT AVAILABLE in the e39 chassis for the States at all. It was available in the e46 M3 possibly beginning in '03 (maybe earlier...), but not at all for the e39's..(from everything I understood at the time....).
And yes, I believe the M5 received Caramel and not Cinnamon, which is really nice looking as well, but they do look different. I cannot qualify any of that first statement as fact, but we kept getting pushback from BMW NA on the availability of Cinn. interiors on the e39 back in the day....they always said it wasn't an option even for US market "Individual" cars, only EU "Individual" cars. This car was ordered through BMW Niederlassung (...in Bonn, Germany) just they way it sits....
Might not go too bad with O/Green snotty.... !! I had thought of acquiring a rust free touring from the south and swapping my stuff to it. Alpine white over black would have been my ideal choice but that's a tough car to keep nice up here. Something with a black interior regardless as I would hate to swap a dash.
Yep! I really think OG2 would be kickass with that cinnamon interior! If I dream about enough, maybe one day I end up dying the barf beige to that color.... Then the Green Snot Rocket would be even cooler.

Thanks UCS..! We were all moved by the color combo when it first showed up. You should have seen this thing when it was new....total poster child.
...and yes it is rust...and it has gotten worse on the wheel openings. I thought of just shelling out the $$ and having it all cut out and fixed. No question it's cheaper to buy a rust free touring and swap all my stuff into a solid chassis. But if I do that the uniqueness of this particular car, and the history I have with it, is gone...

Cool snow covered wagons. Mine sadly has been sitting inside my garage while its DME is sent to Kassel performance for Euro tune 2 (to eliminate the SAP).
Hopefully she will be back on the salty WI roads tonight!
