Hey guys, new to the forums and have some questions. I recently picked up my F10 about 2 weeks ago. I’ve been searching high and low with mixed results, so figured I’d just ask.
Ok.. I have a 2011 535i w/Xdrive, Dynamic Drive, EDC, and Adaptive Drive. The wheel gap (especially front) is awful, and the obvious F10 floaty feel is there 100%. My last BMW was an e60 550i w/M, and the suspension characteristics between the two feel like night and day. My question is, can I lower the 535 using springs? I’ve read some have good luck with the H&R kit, others not so much. I ordered an Eibach Pro Kit off of Tire Rack, but the more research I do it seems as though it’s only a kit with the front two springs, and seems to think the rear of my car has adjustable air ride. Given the options my car has, what can I do here? Would lowering only the front be the option, are the H&R springs my best/safest option, or am I stuck at factory height? Thank you all in advance

Well, we have the same car. I bought mine about a month ago. The guy before me did h&r springs. It dropped it about 1.4 inches. It's also now riding on 20" wheels. It rides and handles fine but it will change negative camber and wear out your tires quicker. I just installed new meyle adjustable camber front upper control arms. I have alignment scheduled for next week to see if they brought camber back into specs. I'll try and attach a photo. It does look good.
