Question Automatic rear drivers side window roll-up does not work.

Just replaced the window regulator and kept original motor. (Because only the plastic pulley cracked off) Now the automatic roll-up feature does not work. I need to keep the power button lifted in order to roll the window up. The window used to roll to the top with just a one or two second lift of the button. Is there something I missed or need to do to re-program the window to do this? or maybe just a bad switch?

Hmmm, that’s odd as I thought E46s in the USA didn’t have the one-touch roll up in the rear windows. Something about child safety according to the lawyers.

You need to reinitalize the window. Run the window all the way up and continue to hold the switch up for about 5 sec. after the window is all the way up. That will relearn the window one touch feature.
