    New wheels

    Hey guys,
I had no choice but to replace my wheels. They were badly corroded.
My new wheels are alloy. Mostly painted black with a small amount of silver.
I was wondering how best to look after these wheels. Can I just use metal polish( such as autosol) on the wheels including the
    painted parts to protect them?
    Thanks
    Neil

No, do not use metal polish for painted/clear coated parts. Metal polish is made for the bare, raw metal.

What wheels are they? There are dedicated wheel cleaners out there that you could use when washing your car. Otherwise just regular car soap on them will work fine, as well as the wax you'd use on the painted body.

Try Sonax wheel cleaner. It is acid-free and safe for alloy wheels.
