I did the gen 3 injector swap and reconnected the cold start valve. I went with the yellow ones. Idles better than any m30 I have ever owned. Off idle awesome. Hypermiling to aggressive driving all better than with the old injectors. For some reason, it takes longer to start cold or hot.

What condition were the old sticks in? If way old and never serviced, that is a pretty common reaction to new ones.
How is that diff swap working for you?

Turned 240,000 on a road trip to Greensboro before retiring them. Diff swap is working great, no big drop off in mileage. If anything better in town, slightly lower on the highway.
Right on! Diff swaps are a must in the NA cars.
You have the 8:1 motor factory right? Chip that -059 for a bit more. Aside from that, there is nothing you can do that is inexpensive.

Is it a 10:1 motor?
Mine also reacted quite happily to the newer injectors.

I have the 8:1 factory. I already have the Conforti (Turner Motorsports) chip.

I do have a fresh rebuild in the garage, but the stock motor is running too good to mess with it.
I have only seen four Euro NA E23s with the 8:1 factory. His, my old one. An '86 for sale in Houston and an '85 with nutria buffalo in DFW.
