Anyone got a bead on a black facelift E39 for sale?

I am into the meat-n-potatoes of my build and will be selling this after it's all done and I have road-tested and enjoyed it for a bit.

Engine is getting refreshed with all new seals, rebuild vanos, and replaced timing chain guides.
Manual swap with SSK, M5 clutch
M5 servotronic steering box.
Custom intake, N62 throttle body, M60 intake manifold. DDM tune

I can give you the guy's phone number if you want. He texted me again this morning insisting he wasn't a scammer and that I should take a chance because he can give me the car I want. I wonder if some people actually fall for that. He sent me all the pics from it when you originally purchased it at the beginning of your build thread.

I unfortunately have the money, but do not have any space to pick up this car. 1/9 528it made in Kashmir Beige(reference: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...option-codes-) ), probably the only one with a stick. Stick wagons and weird colors have a good history on BaT and Cars and Bids, but to have both... I think the asking price would be a good starting price and then refurbish during the spring and flip in the summer

Hard to tell b/c the CL photos aren’t great, but exterior looks decent. Find some better condition sport seats, wheels, etc and could be a good project. Seems to have far more miles than 126k based on the interior wear. Listed as broken odometer which isn’t common unless it’s just a burnt out bulb in the cluster or dreaded pixel repair.

That's a good find mateo. I'm vaguely looking for a 528iT/5, but I'm not wild about this color.

The interior does looks rough, but it looks like it'd react well to some TLC.

I have stumbled upon several others in the past months, but none that were stick or uncommon colors, this had both so I had to post it. There are 3-5ish that always seem to be on the Washington DC craigslist at any given time, but all seem to be some shade of silver


One thing I saw was the passenger side rear jack pad seems to have significant rust as the rocker is crushed in a little bit in that area, along with everything else stated above. It seems as if on nearly all tourings with a silver/-ish or metallic paint, the front fender to door transition doesn't seem right. Its kinda hard to explain, but its like the fender is always more shiny than the door, idk it could just be me seeing that.

Got mine with 230k on it and looked nearly new but I have a black interior so its not an apples to apples comparison
