ha...! I saw that one in Oviedo the other weekend.
I lived right next to Oviedo in Winter Park prior to moving to Iceland here. Wife went to school there.
I do have friends and family that live here....

I'd go check it out if I didn't want a horse head in my bed from that lovely lady I wed from Oviedo

From the BFC classifieds, not an E39, but its a cool wagon/coupe, perfect for an S54 swap!

Since we've set the precedent of posting every touring to hit BaT...
This has got to be one of the lowest mileage E39 Tourings left in existence. Too bad it's such a boring spec. But if that white 528iT went for $30k last year I could see this one hitting that mark.
Man, that car is nice! Many don’t like brown, but that Kalahari Brown is actually really nice. Couple things that caught my eye, one of the rims is scraped, no big deal, but the drivers seat bolster is kinda fat assed crunched down for 11,000 miles, and the cars bottom side is dirtier than my cars!

That is a nice one.

Good buy as it is a new car just many years from production build date!
When you pull off the wheels, I am your buyer. I have a 528 with 15" wheels, on that car it is a upgrade

Thanks guys. Based on the market I think it was an OK price. it seems near impossible to find a white car or a car with black interior, and this has both!
my last wagon had the same wheels and I love the big sidewalls. Although if I end up keeping this for an extended amount of time I'll probably ruin it with m5 bumpers and an inappropriate swap.
I would love to do a straightforward manual swap in the shorter term though. (But I'll probably just do maintenance for 2 years and sell it haha
Reasonably clean topaz with black interior in Myrtle Beach

“She’s the last of the V8’s, she sucks nitro...phase 4 heads, twin overhead cams...600 horsepower through the wheels, she’s meanness put to music...”
There’s a Topaz/Sand beige very low mileage Touring on Craigslist in Fort Lauderdale (South Florida). Sorry, I don’t know how to link it. Asking price is over the top, and it shows salvage title. The car looks immaculate.

If I had a nickel for every time I came across an incorrect usage of "M Sport"....
^_and it doesn’t have M bumpers on it either.
It's wild what people are asking for E39 tourings. In looking for mine I searched across the country and just about every single one of them were absolute turds with people asking all the money. $6k for a rusty 6cyl car with 200k+ miles?
There's a car in the classifieds right now I actually checked out. Presented well in pictures but needed a ton of work and the work that had been done was shoddy at best. The seller has since upped his price
^^^It’s been a trend for some time, and the auction sites have only been adding fuel to the fire. This recession may start to slow the trend, but it’s also simple supply & demand. Can’t buy many wagons in the U.S. unless you want to drive Suburu or CUV, and we’ll-cared for e39 Tourings are a rare breed. And if your looking for a stick long roof, the list is very short indeed.

Not a single one of these were well cared for. I'm ok with paying a premium for the right car. But everyone "knows what they have"
But look at those wheels!! I know the guy who repaired them. Typical bad with corrosion. Finished with correct styration, not polish.
Car is very nice, if you like beige interior, which I don't. The kalahari is growing on me .

Not enough room for past/present garage
The Topaz 540it I posted (#489) on Craigslist has an asking price of $29,500!

These guys are banking on getting it sold, those that would pay this much….. I just shake my head. Car was nice, but $29,5…..

Remember folks, you are buying them with Biden dollars, soon to be worthless.
Don't borrow to buy, but spend before currency gets replaced with central bank crypto.
You guys know me, and my love for wagons, that $29,500 wagon, heres the better route to go, not a wagon, but a low mileage Jet Black M5 selling in my neck of the woods for $32,000. According to the seller, it is a 9.75 out of 10 car. The area where the car is in an affluencial area of Maryland, just across the river from Greatfalls, VA.
What’s interesting, my 2001 540 was special ordered from BMW to mimic this exact M5, same color, ordered with M5 wheels, same interior, but with the regular sport seats, all the options that came on the 2003 Msports, since that’s what it is, a 2001 full Msport out of Canada. Too bad it didn’t have the engine, the transmission, the M mirrors, and the badge, it has the anthracite headliner, not alcantara, but I only paid $6500 for it years ago.
