Just bought an e46 (2002 325ci) that came with these wheels mounted. The car had a bad front end vibration from around 60mph-80mph. I assumed this to be suspension, likely control arms/bushings or bad tie rods, or perhaps a sticky caliper, but when I went to remove the wheels to check, I found they were not hubcentric.
It's my understanding that the e46 has a 72.5mm hub bore, and these wheels have a larger centerbore. I can't find any information on the centerbore of these wheels despite hours of searching the web, except for this post:

Which would indicate the centerbore is likely 74.1mm as it is definitely larger than the hub. Does anyone have the knowledge to confirm? The wheels are stamped and appear to be legitimate. Part # 3611 46 400, 18x8.5, et43. Pictures are attached of casting marks. I'd like to get hubcentering rings ordered asap to isolate this being the cause of the issue. Thanks guys!

Hi,
They'll most likely be a larger centre bore, perhaps 81 or 82mm. The reason is that hubcentric rings could be used to have the wheels fit on different BMW's rather than having to make a specific cast for each at the factory. A quick change of those hubcentric rings means they could be put on 72.56mm CB BMW's or 74.1mm BMW's. A quick measure of the diameter of the CB will also give you confirmation of the above. Look at reputable wheel sellers who will have or stock those hubcentric rings, on ebay, there's plenty of listings for such items too.
Cheers, Dennis!
Thanks, Dennis! Looks like 82mm was correct. Rings are ordered and on the way. I appreciate the helps.
