Decided to start a thread on my build as I’m sure many have. It will be a lengthy build and I’ll try to keep the post updated when progress is made. Feel free to ask any questions and or add some input!

Sounds like a solid build. any thoughts on a 4L80 over the TH400?
I'm curious about your answer to this one too.
I went from a 200r4 to a Th400 in a single turbo SBC g-body but swapped gears from 3.70 to 3.08 at the same time. The car felt like it accelerated much better but I don't have any data to back that up and there's more factors that changed besides just gear ratios; torque converter, for instance.
I can see advantages to both transmissions. Has anyone managed to squeeze either trans in an e36 yet?
