Problem after removing and reinstalling console

I recently pulled my console out to fix some wiring that had been chewed on my a mouse at some point and time. Although the damage wasn't near as bad as I thought it might have been. Just a couple of wires under the console that had a little insulation chewed off. I got the wires taped up and also replace the bulbs and sockets in the HVAC controls while I was at it (had one burned out).

Lights in HVAC work great now. Got everything put back together...all the connectors plugged back in etc.

BUT...now, my odometer doesn't light up...fuel gauge doesn't move...actually don't really know what all does and does not work on the dash. Car starts and runs fine. I'm thinking that I must have pulled something loose under the dash or something by accident. Or is it possible that I just didn't get something connected back up? I wouldn't think that there would be something under or in front of the console that could cause this. Have I blown a fuse? Any help is greatly appreciated. It was such a job removing and then re-installing the console to now have this happen .

Does that mean it does not rise to show current level of fuel, or does not drop from consumption when driving?
Could you have shorted one of the fuzes here?

It does not rise from the E mark when the key is turned on. I will check the fuses when I get back to my garage tomorrow...but i was frustrated by the time I got everything put back together...just to have the dash not working correctly, so I just shut everything down and came home.

I forgot to also mention...that my analog clock is not working either...which it has always kept perfect time since I have owned the car.

Is it possible to plug the connector into the clock backwards? I would think that the connector would be keyed somehow...where it will only plug in one way. I had to plug it in by feel.

I thought it was supposed to move when you turn the key on. It is showing empty and it is not empty.

I never let any of my vehicles get even close to empty. Everything worked fine before I removed and reinstalled the console.

My problem with the warning dash lights / odometer was an easy fix. I check all the fuses described in the link in post #2. All of those fuses were good...checked with a digital multimeter. But then I thought....the clock (which is analog) was not working either. So I checked the fuse diagram to see which fuse was for the clock. Sure enough...the fuse was blown. I replace the fuse and immediately the chime in the car started dinging. I sat down in the car and turned the key on and.....everything lit up like it was supposed to. And the fuel gauge (needle) jumped up to the full mark, and the clock also powered up.

So if anyone else ever has this problem....check the clock fuse. I can't imagine why the clock fuse would power the warning lights in the dash too....but obviously it does.

Several things are often shared on several fuses. You have to check the Bentley Manual to see.
In another thread, a fuel gauge quit and it shared a fuse with the wiper / washer, which had shorted.
