Question Mishimoto Fan Shroud setup question

I just got in my Mishimoto Fan Shroud kit. I have the Expansion Tank already and a Fan Controller Kit on the way. I bought the 1/8 NPT sensor version.

I am going to use an inline NPT water temperature sensor adapter. I may or may not get Mishimoto, it will all depend on delivery dates, I need it before the Christmas holiday.

This is basically what I am looking to use:

The adapters are made in different diameters, and I only have one shot to get this before Christmas.

My question is: Which diameter do I get?

I realize that this may depend on what hoses I have, and the problem is that I can't measure the end of the hose because they are step down hoses.

Here are the hoses that I have:

Upper Radiator Hose: FEBI (Ferdinand Bilstein Gmbh) #37130
Lower Radiator Hose: Rein Automotive #CHR0014R

If anyone who has done this to their E36 can help me with this, I will greatly appreciate it.

I think i figured it out. I eye measured the outside diameter by putting a measuring tape next to it, and the OD looks like 1 1/2". I measured the thickness of the hose on one side which looks like 1/8" so times that by 2 and subtract it from the OD and I come up with 1 1/4"

1.25" converts to a 31.75mm ID, so the 32mm should be nicely snug on there.

I ordered a Mishi unit and it should be here at the first of next week.

All is well, as you were...

bruh. Fan Controller Kit is a rip off. Just wire it into the exist aux fan wiring harness and switch the fuse from a 35A to a 40A. Its 15AWG cable so it ought to support it. That's the way I've been doing it at least. Works great and looks OEM.

Maybe, but I have all of it on the way now. I will do a clean job of it. I do like the capability of adjusting the temp at which the fan kicks on.

We'll see how it goes. I just want to get rid of the PITA stock shroud and mechanical fan. I am already going to be removing them to do the Water Pump and all the rest so it is a good time to ditch them.
