    Z3M Shifter Trim in Grey is Back in Stock

    ECS Tuning has the Grey Shifter Trim back in stock. I know some guys on here are making them from there 3D printer. But I wanted OEM part for a perfect fit. Just passing the info on

    Is itnpossible to get good results with painting?
    I assume some kind of Krylon plastic paint.
    Would be worried about it peeling off.

    Yes--I've done it with lots of older cars where almost every piece is NLA
    No--use SEM paint, & make sure to use an adhesion promoter
    Not if you do it right

    I found some good paint that I did my whole dash and console with and had great results. I covered the wood grain in my Touareg with it also. I bought their cleaner, adhesion spray, color coat, and top coat in matte and satin. I ended up not using the top coat.
