I don't think they'll fit period. I googled those wheels and the bolt pattern looks like 5x114.3

Im pretty sure our e36 wheels are 5x120 bolt pattern

Im running 18x9 et 28, all around and i needed aggressive fender rolling in front and back as well as 10mm spacer in the front to clear the coilover. I don't think you'll run into any problems as you're gonna go with a 17in wheel however make sure you can source 10mm spacers if need be.

Yes, they will fit, and without a spacer.

You will likely need front and rear camber adjustability options before fitting wider tires in the future. For example, I run 18x9.5 w/ 245 tires and my fenders are rolled, but -3.5 front camber, -2.5 rear.

I’d skip them because the offset won’t allow decent width rubber under the fenders even with rolling. But if you are not into performance then it does not matter. Run silly camber to tilt the wheels in at the top and stretch some cheap Chinese tires.

If the offset was greater than 41, then spacers would be needed to bring the wheels away from the suspension. The offset is lower than 41, then the wheels will already be set away from the suspension. The problem to overcome with this fitment (the proposed fitment of the OP) is that the tires will hit the fenders unless he does some pretty aggressive fender rolling. The bolt pattern is also an issue, but he says that the holes have been redrilled to overcome this.

Personally, I think it tacky to have empty bolt holes on your wheels, but that's me.
