Hi,
Can someone help me troubleshoot my 328i. It makes this clicking noise when turning right and it seems to be coming from rear right corner. It almost sounds like when the ABS is activating on that wheel only, but it happens often and regardless of the surface condition. This happens mostly when I'm taking those highway exits, full circle to join onto another highway. I don't push it hard, no more than 30% throttle.
Please help me understand this.
Thank You
First thing I'd check is the wheel bearing. Typically it's the outer wheel in a hard turn that makes noise, but the symptom sounds similar. Get under the car and check for anything loose in the rear suspension, and check and make sure your rear springs aren't binding.
If you don't see anything obvious, just take it to a shop. What you describe could have so many different causes, and they'll be able to diagnose it a lot more effectively than you will.

As previously recommended, pay a visit to a reputable BMW specialist shop and have it put on a lift.
It can be worn wheel bearings, but that's just a hunch.
Thanks
