I did, but the car was sold (without hardtop) several months ago and kit went with it -- only because the guy had expressed interest in buying the top later on. He ended up finding another one for cheap (in the local area even!) and buying it before I even had a chance to match the price. Man, I got sooooo lucky that guy I bought my top from for $500 was willing to let me come back two weeks later and strip the hardware out.......

I agree, it is absolutely nuts. I'm sure the pricing is mostly due to the low volume of parts and no longer being produced. When I bought them the first go around I was lucky enough to find the hardware (here, I think) for about $100.
