My '98 was firmer, too firm, after I opted for the Bilstein 'sport' struts/shocks. My 2002 replacement has far fewer miles, 67K, but the suspension seems a little unsettled by comparison. More power with the 3.0 vs 2.8, but I am wondering about going with regular Bilsteins and a strut tower brace to reduce shudder. I get a little squeaking from the hard top/windshield rubber also. This may indicate typical roadster flex and I can lube the rubber with some Gummi Flage, but the suspension still seems 'looser feeling' than the previous one.
Any suggestions about the strut tower brace? No track days, just commuting and occasionally spirited street driving.
